Job Summary:
Develops and transfers new pharmaceutical products in compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements, applying statistical methods and equipment operation.

Pharmaceutical Development Chemist
Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Food Chemistry, Industrial Pharmacy, or related field.
* 1 year of experience in similar positions.
* Proficiency in Excel and Word.
* Knowledge of Mexican Official Standards NOM-59, NOM-164, NOM-177, NOM-075\.
* Familiarity with national and international pharmacopoeias.
* Proficiency in and application of GMP, GLP, and GCP.
* Proficiency in statistical sampling methods and process controls.
Responsibilities
* Develop new products meeting quality requirements.
* Assign trial batch numbers, polishing, scale-up, technology transfer, and transfer batches.
* Transfer developed products.
* Identify and store finished and bulk products.
* Perform rheological tests, as well as tests on powders, granules, and pellets.
* Determine particle size distribution via analytical sieve analysis of powders, granules, and pellets.
* Knowledge of equipment including centrifuge, rheometer, spheronizer, mixer, stereoscopic microscope, tablet press, and dryer.
