




Job Summary: We are seeking a Kitchen Assistant to support food preparation, cleaning, and compliance with hygiene standards in an industrial cafeteria, working collaboratively and responsibly. Key Responsibilities: 1. Assistance in food preparation and cooking. 2. Maintenance of cleanliness and compliance with food hygiene regulations. 3. Collaboration in inventory control and proper use of equipment. A leading company in industrial cafeterias is hiring a KITCHEN ASSISTANT to work in Coyoacán at an outsourced cafeteria. RESPONSIBILITIES: • Assist in pre-preparation of food (washing, disinfection, chopping, and portioning). • Support dish preparation under the chef’s supervision. • Maintain cleanliness and disinfection of work areas, utensils, and kitchen equipment. • Comply with food hygiene and safety regulations (NOM-251, DISTINTIVO H). • Properly separate and handle organic and inorganic waste. • Collaborate in inventory control and report shortages or damaged goods. • Wear uniform and personal protective equipment correctly. REQUIREMENTS: • Minimum education: Completed primary or secondary school. • Experience: Preferred 6 months to 1 year in kitchen or industrial cafeteria settings. • Basic knowledge of hygiene and food handling. • Availability to work rotating shifts. • Good physical condition for operational work.
