




**Mining Planning and Operations Engineer** Location: Tulancingo, Hidalgo Salary: **$28,000 to $30,000** gross monthly Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM \| Saturdays, 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM Benefits: Statutory benefits, with real opportunities for career growth About the Position We are seeking a Mining Planning and Operations Engineer with experience in open-pit mining and aggregate materials. We are looking for someone familiar with fieldwork, who enjoys daily operations, and who wishes to contribute their expertise to a stable and growing company. This position combines **planning, supervision, and operations**. You will be responsible for ensuring that material stockpiles operate efficiently, safely, and with sound resource management. Your work will have a direct impact on the company’s performance. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional aiming to take the next step in their career—applying both **technical expertise and the ability to coordinate teams and projects.** Requirements * Degree in Mining Engineering, Civil Engineering, Geology, Metallurgy, or a related field. * Minimum of **5 years’ experience** in aggregate mining operations. * Solid experience in mining planning and operations. * Knowledge of mining cartography in Mexico. * Proficiency in **AutoCAD, Google Earth, and preferably additional data or mapping software.** * Advanced Excel skills. * Valid driver’s license. * Willingness to travel across various regions of the country **(e.g., Córdoba, Puebla, Querétaro, Tlaxcala, among others).** **Key Responsibilities** * Design and implement mining plans. * Identify, evaluate, and forecast aggregate material deposits. * Supervise field operations and coordinate operational staff. * Calculate areas, volumes, and elevations required for extraction activities. * Manage diesel consumption, spare parts, and operational supplies. * Conduct site visits and inspections at various deposits and projects. * Ensure all activities comply with technical and safety standards. **What We Value in Your Work Approach** * Strong organizational and planning abilities. * Clear leadership and respectful interaction with field teams. * Timely, data-driven decision-making. * Responsible resource management and focus on efficiency. * Willingness to travel to different work locations. **Position Objective** Ensure mining planning and operations are conducted efficiently, safely, and with appropriate resource control—contributing to the company’s growth and productivity.
