Job Summary: Responsible for planning and supervising the execution of dispatch routes, negotiating with transportation providers, and managing product transfers to ensure on-time and in-full (OTIF) deliveries and optimize costs. Key Highlights: 1. Lead the optimization of transportation routes and modes. 2. Ensure compliance with safety and quality procedures. 3. Foster a positive culture of food safety and quality. * Plan and supervise the execution of dispatch routes and the performance of local carriers to ensure timely and complete (OTIF) deliveries to customers. * 'Lead the identification, negotiation, and qualification of local transportation providers to optimize freight rates and ensure required capacity. * 'Manage product transfer operations between warehouses and/or plants nationwide to ensure inventory availability where needed. * 'Analyze and control the plant's freight cost structure, identifying optimization opportunities in routes and transportation modes to improve efficiency. * 'Implement corporate-defined cost-saving and efficiency projects within local operations, and propose initiatives to enhance transportation management. * 'Ensure compliance with safety (BASC) and quality procedures across all loading and transportation activities to safeguard product and personnel integrity. * 'Report incidents related to product quality and food safety, and manage appropriate corrective actions in routine activities to foster a positive culture of food safety, quality, and continuous improvement. * 'Report incidents related to occupational health and safety and the environment, and manage appropriate corrective actions in routine activities to foster a positive culture of occupational health and safety and environmental stewardship. -Requirements- Minimum education: Higher education - Bachelor's degree 3 years of experience Keywords: resident, supervisor, team leader, assistant manager, responsible person, coordinator, manager, captain, distribution, distribucion
