Monitor designated swimming areas to detect hazardous situations, unusual or unsafe activities, and swimmers in distress. Promote recreational facility rules and regulations. Identify situations where guests cannot safely participate in an activity and report to a supervisor/manager. Provide assistance to injured guests until emergency medical services arrive. Promote a cheerful and comfortable environment for guests. Take, fold, and stack towels according to company procedures. Wash, scrub, and clean the area surrounding the pool. Report accidents, injuries, and hazardous working conditions to management; receive safety training and obtain required certifications. Comply with all company safety policies and procedures; report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries; complete required safety training and certifications. Ensure both uniform and personal appearance are neat and professional. Maintain confidentiality of company proprietary information; protect company assets. Support all co-workers and treat them with dignity and respect. Support team to reach common goals. Meet quality assurance expectations and standards. Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than 50 pounds (22.5 kg) or equivalent without assistance. Reach above shoulder height and below the knees, including bending, twisting the waist, pulling, and stooping. Move on sloped, uneven, or slippery surfaces and stairs. Climb and descend ladders.
