Position Summary: Plans and coordinates preventive and corrective maintenance of the fleet, ensuring operational availability and regulatory compliance. Key Responsibilities: 1. Manages preventive and corrective maintenance of the vehicle fleet. 2. Supervises mechanical, electrical, brake, and gas system protocols. 3. Coordinates with logistics to optimize maintenance and operations. **Maintenance Management and Planning** * Plan and coordinate **preventive and corrective maintenance** of the vehicle fleet. * Develop service schedules considering mileage, operating hours, and safety regulations for gas transportation. * Ensure operational availability of vehicles, minimizing downtime. * Supervise proper implementation of protocols for **mechanics, electricity, brakes, gas systems, and vehicle safety**. **2\. Safety and Regulatory Compliance** * Verify that repairs comply with **Mexican Official Standards**. **3\. Workshop Administration** * Control maintenance budgets and perform only authorized repairs according to company policies. * Contract and supervise external services (alignment, machining, painting, specialized testing). **4\. Supervision and Leadership** * Assign tasks to assigned mechanical staff. * Supervise repair quality before releasing a vehicle. * Promote adherence to occupational safety standards within the workshop. **5\. Coordination with Operations** * Maintain communication with the **logistics and operations departments** to schedule maintenance without disrupting product distribution. * Immediately address vehicles experiencing critical failures en route. * Track incidents or accidents involving vehicles, ensuring their repair and documentation.
