Inspect parts to ensure quality standards Apply paint or lacquer finishes to surfaces—typically wood, metal, plastic, or other materials—to achieve an aesthetic appearance, protect the material, or comply with technical specifications and company standards. **As a Lacquerer, you will be responsible for:** * Applying paint or lacquer finishes to surfaces—typically wood, metal, plastic, or other materials—to achieve an aesthetic appearance, protect the material, or comply with technical specifications and company standards. * Preparing surfaces for lacquering by sanding and cleaning them to ensure proper adhesion. * Applying layers of lacquer, varnish, or paint using spray guns, brushes, or rollers as required. * Controlling the quantity and uniformity of the applied product to avoid imperfections. * Ensuring proper drying and curing of the applied finishes. * Maintaining a clean and organized work area. * Inspecting parts to verify compliance with quality standards. * Reporting any defects or issues identified during the process. * Adhering to safety regulations and proper handling procedures for materials and tools. **To perform this role successfully, you must possess the following minimum qualifications and experience:** * 2 years of verifiable experience as a general assistant in carpentry, lacquering, and painting environments. * Completed secondary school or high school education. * Basic knowledge of wood types and their applications. **The following capabilities and distinctions would be advantageous in this position:** * Proficiency with general carpentry tools and equipment (drills, saws, planers, cutters, lathes, routers, polishers, etc.). * Proficiency with painting and fine-finishing tools (compressors, gravity-fed spray guns, belt sanders, brushes, rollers, etc.). * General knowledge of inks, varnishes, sealers, and protective coatings.
