We employ over 9,000 people and operate 21 Recycling Centers, 3 Steel Mills, 15 Finished Product Plants, 1 Research Center, and 26 Distribution Centers. * **Responsibilities and/or Functions:** Address logistical center needs related to CPP by designing optimal solutions that resolve root-cause problems. Generate analyses supporting tactical and strategic decision-making. Develop and implement mechanisms and tools to optimize loading, receiving, storage, and transportation processes, applying methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and Improvement Ecosystems. Create action plans with activity schedules for change implementation. Train staff on newly proposed processes, monitor performance of changes, and make adjustments as needed. Analyze service KPIs (cost of poor quality, complaints, cycle times, etc.) to identify improvement opportunities and define action plans to enhance logistical center and/or service processes. Prepare progress reports, conduct post-implementation reviews to assess improvement impact, and present results to Management. Identify potential risks and develop mitigation plans, as well as supervise and manage risks during implementation. Collaborate in designing, developing, and maintaining documentation for standard practices and processes, incorporating safety, quality, and productivity requirements. Audit compliance with the CPP system at logistical centers, identify improvement opportunities, and translate them into action plans.
