





**Job Summary:** The IT Assistant provides comprehensive technical support to internal users, with a primary focus on hardware and software. The goal is to ensure the proper functioning of organizational equipment, applications, and technological resources, as well as to support installation, maintenance, and incident resolution. **Key Responsibilities: Hardware Support** * Diagnose, repair, and perform preventive and corrective maintenance on computing devices (PCs, laptops, printers, peripherals). * Assemble, configure, and install new equipment. * Perform hardware component upgrades and performance evaluations. * Manage physical inventory of equipment and spare parts. **Software Support** * Install and configure operating systems (primarily Windows; Linux or macOS preferred). * Install, update, and provide support for institutional applications and productivity software. * Perform backups, formatting, and full reinstallation of devices when necessary. * Address application performance issues, compatibility problems, and errors. **Networks and Other** * Provide basic network infrastructure support: cabling, network ports, connectivity, network printers. * Participate in ticket handling and document solutions in the Help Desk system. * Maintain up-to-date logs, manuals, and technical documentation. **Job Requirements:** * High school diploma or technical degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field. * Solid knowledge of computer hardware and equipment repair. * Experience installing and configuring software and operating systems. * Basic understanding of networking (TCP/IP, Wi-Fi, cabling, network printers). * Familiarity with remote support tools and help desk platforms. * Preferred: Knowledge of Active Directory, corporate antivirus solutions, Office 365 or Google Workspace suites. **Competencies:** * Analytical and problem-solving skills * Effective communication and user-oriented interpersonal skills * Organizational ability and attention to detail * Teamwork * Proactivity and willingness to learn **Ideal Profile:** Service-oriented individual with technical expertise in both hardware and software, organized, patient, and capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
