Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Video Editor specializing in social media editing and motion graphics, with strong After Effects skills, to transform raw footage into agile and engaging content. Creative collaboration with design and social media teams What We’re Looking For: A **Video Editor** with experience in **social media editing** and **motion graphics**, possessing narrative judgment, strong sense of rhythm, and mastery of **After Effects** to elevate pieces with animation, light VFX, transitions, and graphics. The candidate will be responsible for transforming raw footage into agile, engaging, and communication-objective-aligned content. Responsibilities * Edit videos for **Reels, TikTok, Shorts, YouTube**, and advertising formats. * Create **motion graphics** (titles, lower thirds, text animation, graphics, transitions) in **After Effects**. * Perform **color correction**, audio enhancement, subtitling, and platform-specific optimization. * Adapt content to **various aspect ratios** (9:16, 1:1, 16:9) and durations (15s, 30s, 60s). * Work with scripts, references, graphic guidelines, and/or campaign assets to meet objectives. * Organize files, backups, and projects for efficient workflow (naming conventions, versions, renders, etc.). * Collaborate with design, social media, and/or creative direction teams to iterate changes rapidly. Requirements (Mandatory) * Proficiency in **Adobe Premiere Pro** and **After Effects**. * Experience editing for **social media** (pacing, hooks, retention, dynamic cuts). * Proficiency in: * **Subtitling** (manual or using tools), and typographic composition for video. * **Audio** (basic cleanup, level balancing, music, SFX). * **Basic/intermediate color correction** (Lumetri or similar workflow). * Knowledge of **composition**, masks, keyframes, basic tracking, and simple rotoscoping. * Ability to work under **tight deadlines**, delivering multiple outputs per day/week. * Organization and attention to detail (export settings, bitrate, codecs, platform-specific formats). Desirable Knowledge / Skills * Advanced motion: **2D rigging**, basic expressions, dynamic templates, plugins (if applicable). * Familiarity with **DaVinci Resolve** (color grading or editing). * More advanced **audio knowledge** (Adobe Audition or similar). * Experience with **performance content** (ads, hooks, CTAs, A/B variants). * Use of **libraries** and assets (Envato, Motion Array, etc.) with discernment and consistency. * Basic **3D knowledge** (Element 3D, Blender, or Cinema 4D) is a plus.
