Summary:
Primary Purpose –* Professionally operate trailers in their various configurations for transporting finished products and raw materials to different branches, plants, and/or mixing facilities, ensuring timely and efficient product delivery.
Responsibilities:
Responsibilities:* Perform assigned trips punctually according to the work schedule, ensuring on-time and accurate delivery of products and raw materials to various branches, plants, and/or mixing facilities.
* Report damages and anomalies in transport equipment so they can be repaired and the mechanical condition of such equipment preserved optimally.
* Safeguard personal and third-party physical integrity, as well as company property, by applying defensive driving techniques on every single trip performed.
* Positively impact fuel efficiency indicators through professional technical operation of the tractor-trailer, thereby intrinsically contributing to environmental protection.
* Ensure monitoring of personal organic-physical condition for performing the work schedule, by completing a medical examination prior to the scheduled trip’s commencement, as well as undergoing a random anti-doping test once per month.
* Participate responsibly and committedly in company-established process improvement and transformation programs and initiatives.
* Attend and complete the assigned training program.
Qualifications:
Position Dimensions:* Achieve 95% on-time arrivals at distribution branches for finished products and zero (0.0) preventable person-to-person (P.P.) accidents, positively impacting the fleet accident rate index.
* Completed high school education.
* Valid federal Class E (double articulated) driver’s license.
* Certificate of psychophysical fitness.
* Road safety and defensive driving certification.
* Professional experience operating heavy vehicles in double-articulated configurations.
* Knowledge of safe transportation practices for various products, application of safety systems, and procedures for coupling/uncoupling tractor-trailers.
* Basic knowledge of operational parameters for heavy-duty power units and diesel engines, including preservation and maintenance practices.
* Basic knowledge of traffic regulations and current standards applicable to federal highways.
