Your primary objective is to collect, analyze, and present critical data regarding suppliers, markets, and costs to facilitate decision-making and optimize procurement strategies. You will directly contribute to identifying cost-saving opportunities, mitigating supply chain risks, and ensuring the availability of electronic components—thereby supporting the company’s goals for efficiency, cost control, and product quality. **Responsibilities:** **1\. Data and Spend Analysis:** Collect, clean, and analyze spend data, component costs, and supplier performance to identify trends, risks, and cost-saving opportunities. **2\. Market Research:** Conduct market research on electronic components, suppliers, pricing trends, availability, emerging technologies, and potential supply chain risks. **3\. Supplier Selection Support:** Assist in identifying, researching, and conducting preliminary evaluations of potential suppliers, gathering information on their capacity, quality, and financial stability. **4\. RFx Process Management:** Support preparation and execution of Request for Information (RFI), Request for Proposal (RFP), and Request for Quotation (RFQ) processes, including consolidating responses and performing comparative analysis. **5\. Database Maintenance:** Manage and maintain up-to-date supplier databases, price lists, contracts, component specifications, and other relevant sourcing documentation. **6\. Reporting and Presentations:** Prepare reports, dashboards, and presentations containing analytical findings, key performance indicators (KPIs), and recommendations for the Sourcing team and other stakeholders. **7\. Supplier Performance Tracking:** Assist in monitoring supplier performance (on-time delivery, quality, costs) and preparing performance reviews. **8\. Regulatory Compliance Support:** Help track supplier documentation and compliance with industry and environmental regulations (e.g., RoHS, REACH, conflict minerals). **9\. Obsolescence Management Support:** Collaborate on tracking component lifecycles, identifying obsolescence risks, and supporting the search for alternatives. **10\. Administrative and Project Support:** Provide general administrative support to the Sourcing team and participate in specific process improvement or cost-savings initiatives. **Desired Candidate Profile:** **Preferred Education Level:** Bachelor’s Degree **Field of Study:** Industrial Engineering, International Business, Administration, or related discipline. Minimum 2 years of experience in electronic component procurement, demand planning, or supplier negotiations. Minimum 1 year of experience in NPI projects. **Competencies:** Ability to work independently, in a structured manner, and with an analytical mindset. Openness to change and growth. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel is mandatory. **Languages:** Advanced English (Mandatory) Strong negotiation skills. Effective communication in a goal-oriented, short- to mid-term work environment. Strong problem-solving ability. Ability to share knowledge with other team members (teamwork). Effective communication with interdisciplinary and international teams to present complex topics clearly while exercising sound judgment and cost awareness—skills that help persuade stakeholders and drive project growth and approval. **Authority and Control:** * Due to the nature of its responsibilities, this position holds no decision-making authority. * This position has the authority to stop work if it is not being performed safely, if appropriate tools are unavailable, if required training has not been completed, or if applicable personal protective equipment (PPE) is missing.
