




Position Summary: Supervise the store's overall operations, serving as a role model for the team by providing direction, feedback, and ensuring excellent customer service at AutoZone. Provide necessary direction and feedback to your direct reports to coordinate proper execution of store operational processes, fostering an optimal work environment and delivering excellent service to our customers. * Authorize damaged and non-damaged returns resulting from defective merchandise, incorrect employee recommendations, or catalog errors—always placing the customer first and guaranteeing their full satisfaction. * Ensure all parts and products are in their assigned locations within the store and that physical inventory matches system records by executing flawless weekly inventory management tasks. * Supervise store operational activities, serving as a role model and ensuring employees provide customer guidance and utilize all available tools—including the electronic catalog and AutoZone-provided testing and diagnostic equipment—to deliver reliable advice and genuine solutions to our customers’ needs, while also helping prevent merchandise returns through this practice. * Identify subordinates’ strengths and areas for improvement to assign appropriate tasks, recognize strong performance, and provide feedback when identifying opportunities for improvement and training. * Supervise that all employees comply daily with their scheduled work hours and AutoZone’s dress code, interact with each other and our customers with the highest levels of respect, courtesy, and professionalism, and apply AutoZone’s guidelines and values. * Review and analyze the Profit & Loss (P\&L) report periodically to identify cost-control opportunities and contribute to improving them by promoting a culture of savings across all controllable expenses within the team. * Assign and follow up on tasks for area supervisors—including planogram setup, merchandise placement, warehouse cleaning, restrooms, cafeteria, sales floor, parking lot—as well as review the daily cash count for the main register, perform cash sweeps, and conduct cash register closings for your direct reports following AutoZone’s established procedures. * Supervise and ensure employees use AutoZone-provided safety equipment—including belts, gloves, aprons, and goggles—when handling merchandise, performing vehicle tests, or working at in-store testing stations, thereby helping prevent workplace accidents and ensuring a safe environment for our employees. * High school diploma * One to two years of experience as a supervisor in retail, warehouse, or store environments * Flexible availability for scheduling AutoZone de México is the leading retailer and distributor of automotive parts and accessories in the Americas.
