**Description:** ---------------- **OPENING: BUDGET CONTROL RESIDENT** **POSITION OBJECTIVE** The **Budget Control Resident** is responsible for **ensuring the control and management of financial resources** allocated to construction projects. Their primary function is to **verify, validate, and manage** in real time all transactions related to **payments, contracts, and estimates**, ensuring that executed works match what has been authorized, avoiding duplications, overestimations, and quantification errors. Additionally, they maintain a constant presence at the construction site, providing follow-up and support for operational needs, strengthening communication between the field team and the budget management department. **Requirements:** --------------- **MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES** * **Directly supervise contracted work sections and fronts**, prioritizing requests and promoting communication between site operations and budget departments. * **Create and manage work orders, supply orders, and schedules** in the Enkontrol system, ensuring information is accurate, complete, and aligned with approved budgets. * **Validate construction estimates**, ensuring reported data matches physical progress and photographic records. * **Generate and approve purchase orders and payment requests** according to internal policies and financial control criteria. * Inspect on-site that estimates correspond to actual work performed; in case of irregularities, **issue reports or factual statements**. * Apply charges to contractors when applicable, recording them in the system and notifying the accounting department. * **Follow up on contract modification agreements**, reflecting changes in the system. * **Maintain an updated contractor registry** and securely preserve their documentation with confidentiality. * **Record progress and request status** in collaborative platforms such as Monday and Dropbox. * **Conduct site visits and inspections to verify progress, quality, and contract compliance.** **REQUIREMENTS** * **Education:** Bachelor's degree in Architecture or Civil Engineering required. * **Experience: 1 year in construction or budget control.** **Technical Skills:** * Enkontrol (orders, estimates, amortizations) * AutoCAD, Revit, OPUS, SketchUp * Microsoft Office * Collaborative platforms (Monday, Dropbox) * Knowledge of contracts, estimates, and construction budgets * Valid driver's license (desirable). **SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES** **Technical:** * Budget control and estimate review. * Unit price analysis and technical reporting. * Preparation of contracts and modification agreements. * Proficiency in digital tools for management and tracking. **Why join our team?** We are looking for professionals passionate about control and efficiency in construction, who enjoy technical work, precision, and continuous improvement.
