Job Summary: Execute installations and maintenance of compressed air systems with high standards of safety and operational efficiency. Key Highlights: 1. Job Objective: Execute installations and maintenance of compressed air systems with high standards of safety and operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities: Installation: Assemble and commission compressed air systems in accordance with technical specifications. Technical Support: Conduct field surveys to identify material requirements. Material Logistics: Prepare lists of required support materials for on-site work. Asset Protection: Directly responsible for safeguarding assigned tools and specific safety equipment. Vehicle Operation: Safely and responsibly drive company vans to job sites. Special Responsibilities (Electrical Installation Technician): Select appropriate wire gauge and type for compressors and air dryers; calculate voltage drop. Select thermal-magnetic circuit breakers and electrical protections based on equipment load. Define and select suitable electrical conduit (pipe, cable trays, conduit). Select and define necessary electrical supports for safe installation. Verify compliance of the installation with current electrical codes. Interpret technical and electrical information provided with equipment. Validate that the electrical system is safe and functional prior to energizing the equipment. Ingersoll Rand Inc.
