Experience in CNC programming or laser cutting processes. **Job Summary:** The Technical Laser Cutting Programmer is responsible for designing, preparing, and optimizing computer numerical control (CNC) programs specifically for laser cutting machines—ensuring precision, process efficiency, and compliance with established technical and quality specifications. Works collaboratively with engineering, production, and quality departments. **Primary Responsibilities:** · Interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications. · Create and modify CNC programs for laser cutting machines. · Prepare nesting to optimize material usage. · Select appropriate cutting parameters (power, speed, material type). · Upload programs and validate their correct operation on the machine. · Perform necessary adjustments to improve quality and cycle time. · Maintain an up-to-date database of programs and revisions. · Support the production department in resolving technical issues. · Verify that programs comply with quality and safety requirements. **Experience** * 1–2 years of experience in CNC programming or laser cutting processes. * Familiarity with common equipment brands is desirable (e.g., Trumpf, Amada, Mazak). **Technical Knowledge** * Ability to read and interpret blueprints and basic computer proficiency. * CAD/CAM software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar). * Knowledge of metallic materials and thicknesses. * Basic laser cutting parameters for CO2 or fiber lasers.
