Job Summary: We are seeking a Kitchen Assistant for food preparation and presentation, ensuring food safety and quality in a restaurant environment. Key Highlights: 1. Responsible for food safety, flavor, and quality of prepared foods KITCHEN ASSISTANT AGE: From: 20 to: 55 years old EDUCATION: Completed junior high school. SPECIALTY: Customer service experience preferred. GENDER: Indifferent. MARITAL STATUS: Indifferent EXPERIENCE: Minimum 1 year in a restaurant. GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES · Receive and store stews, tortillas, vegetables, and other ingredients required for food preparation. · Prepare food items ordered by customers. · Ensure food safety, flavor, and presentation of prepared foods. SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES · Receive and store stews, tortillas, vegetables, and other ingredients required for preparing burros, tacos, and quesadillas. · Perform daily roasting and chopping of meat as directed by supervisor. · Disinfect and process vegetables as directed by supervisor. · Prepare burros, tacos, and quesadillas according to daily orders and customer requests. · Maintain presentation, safety, flavor, and quality of prepared foods. · Package and prepare take-out meals and orders following given instructions. · Store excess stews, tortillas, vegetables, and other perishables in accordance with the establishment’s operational standards. · Assist in delivering food to customers. · Comply with and enforce sanitary and food safety regulations within the establishment. · Clean work area and general utensils. · Complete logs and control records. · Keep work area clean and organized. · Collect and dispose of waste in the work area and throughout the establishment. · Respect and enforce applicable safety regulations to prevent accidents. · Coordinate and/or participate in physical inventory of equipment, raw materials, and consumables.
