Job Summary: We are seeking a kitchen assistant to support food preparation according to recipes and maintain order and hygiene in the kitchen area. Key Responsibilities: 1. Assistance in preparing dishes according to recipes and pre-preparation of food items. 2. Maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen. 3. Participation in inventory and waste management. We require a kitchen assistant who can support and work a full shift preparing dishes according to recipes. \- Assist in food preparation, including portioning, pre-preparation, cutting, basic mixing, and preparation of menu items under the chef's instructions. \- Perform deep cleaning of equipment and areas as per the cleaning schedule: refrigerators, freezer, fryer, worktables, and shelves. \- Properly wash and dry utensils and equipment (plates, glasses, cutlery, pots, containers, trays), avoiding impacts and sink overflow. \- Verify food preparation dates and condition, ensuring proper rotation, correct labeling, and hygienic storage. \- Organize and store kitchen purchases, maintaining order and product control to facilitate daily operations. \- Participate in the weekly stock list, supporting counting and recording of kitchen inventory. \- Manage kitchen area waste, removing garbage daily and keeping containers clean. \- Assist in basic equipment maintenance, reporting any malfunctions to the kitchen supervisor or on-duty staff. \- Properly close the kitchen area at the end of the shift, ensuring stove is turned off, final cleaning is completed, refrigerators are correctly closed, and microwave and electric oven are unplugged.
