




URBALIMP, a company dedicated to the collection of urban solid waste, is seeking a **Route Planning and Optimization Coordinator** to incorporate methodology, analysis, and operational efficiency in the municipalities where we currently provide service. The objective of this position is to **design, model, and improve collection routes** through technical analysis, operational data, geographic tools, and fieldwork, with the aim of reducing idle times, optimizing fuel consumption, and enhancing service quality. If you have experience in **logistics, route design, urban planning, or mobility analysis**, this opportunity is for you. **Responsibilities**: * Field surveys to evaluate current collection routes. * Analysis of times, performance, and operational efficiency per unit. * Technical design of new routes using QGIS, Google Earth, or similar tools. * Development of micro-zones for collection and frequency schedules per neighborhood. * Modeling of cycle times and projection of truck trips. * Creation of maps and route charts (printed and digital). * Implementation of new routes with support provided to operators and supervisors. * Adjustments and continuous monitoring during the first weeks of operation. * Monthly technical reports with KPIs, savings, and improvements. **Requirements** * Completed university degree in Environmental Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Transportation Engineering, Civil Engineering, Geography, Urban Planning, Logistics, or related fields. * **Proven experience** in route design, logistics, urban transportation, or mobility analysis. * Proficiency with mapping tools: **QGIS, ArcGIS, Google Earth Pro, or Google MyMaps**. * Intermediate level of Excel (time calculations, data analysis). * Availability for fieldwork within the state. * Ability to communicate effectively with operators and supervisors. **Required Skills** * Numerical and spatial analysis. * Basic knowledge of maps and geographic information systems. * Operational leadership. * Organization, documentation, and clarity in reporting. * Ability to translate technical analysis into practical routes. * Ability to work under pressure and in real operational conditions. **IMPORTANT – Additional Requirement** To be considered, you must submit **in addition to your CV** one of the following: * **Project portfolio** (PDF or link) * **Documented success cases** in which you participated in: * route design, * logistics projects, * urban analysis, * mobility studies, * process optimization.
