Technical support to production and process standardization A company dedicated to the manufacturing and marketing of automotive lighting products, with over 60 years of national and international experience, is seeking a Process Engineer to optimize and improve in-plant production processes. The position emphasizes shop-floor work, process analysis, and resolution of operational issues, delivering direct impact on efficiency, quality, and waste reduction. Responsibilities * Analyze and improve in-plant production processes. * Optimize cycle times and operational efficiency. * Identify and reduce scrap, rework, and downtime. * Provide technical support to production for process-related issues. * Implement improvements in production lines (injection and assembly). * Validate process parameters and operating conditions. * Participate in production start-ups and process validation. * Standardize processes and document improvements. * Coordinate with Production and Quality departments to resolve issues. * Propose improvements to layout, workflow, and productivity. Important * Proven experience in in-plant manufacturing processes. * Experience working on the shop floor (not limited to analysis or documentation). * Experience in continuous improvement and process optimization. * Experience in scrap reduction and process control. * Experience in plastic injection processes (preferred). Profiles without in-plant experience or focused solely on administrative functions will not be considered. Requirements * Industrial, Mechanical, or Process Engineering degree, or related field. * Minimum 2–5 years of experience in process engineering. * Experience in manufacturing plants. * Intermediate Excel proficiency. * Basic/intermediate English (desirable). Knowledge * Lean Manufacturing (5S, Kaizen). * Root cause analysis (Ishikawa, 5 Whys). * Line balancing. * Cycle time optimization. * Control of production processes.
