




**Objective:** Participate in and verify actions aimed at maintaining harmony, tranquility, and order in the area of responsibility and other institutional areas during service. Prevent, at all times, operational actions or conditions that could lead to security incidents, administrative violations, or events jeopardizing the tangible and intangible assets of the university community; as well as ensure compliance with laws, institutional regulations, and security-related ordinances. **Functions:** Identify, control, and monitor the entry of individuals, whenever necessary within the area of responsibility. Observe and monitor irregular or abnormal behaviors of individuals while performing duties. Intervene and immediately report crimes, offenses, conflicts, or irregular situations, applying appropriate procedures. Verify that work and activities conducted within the area of responsibility comply with regulatory safety measures. Immediately verify and report conditions of facilities within the area of responsibility upon detecting an irregular or unsafe situation during patrols, according to instructions from the immediate supervisor. Apply guidelines and institutional regulations pertaining to Institutional Security Services. Assist internal and external clients by resolving issues through the corresponding authorities. Participate in operational deployments for special, cultural, social, sports, and academic events. Participate in actions carried out by the Institutional Security, Search and Rescue, and Firefighting Brigades under the institution’s Internal General Civil Protection Committee. Responsibilities Always act upholding institutional values and the code of ethics, assuming responsibility for one’s actions. Know the institutional structure and stay updated on relevant information. Address others courteously and respectfully while performing duties, maintaining a firm attitude. Arrive 15 minutes early at the assigned area of responsibility. Comply with and apply institutional guidelines and regulations, as well as the directives issued by the Directorate. Participate in training and courses to update knowledge on strategies and tactics beneficial to the service. Maintain confidentiality of information generated during the performance of duties. Actively participate in the institution’s Internal Civil Protection Program within the Security, Evacuation, Search and Rescue, and Firefighting Brigade.
