UVM is looking for your talent for the position of Event Coordinator. Position Objective: Coordinate event logistics requested by various campus departments in accordance with established policies and procedures, while satisfying the UVM community through high-quality service. Additionally, manage comprehensive campus communications to ensure messages reach diverse audiences at required times via various communication channels. Responsibilities and Activities: Coordinate and review the daily calendar and schedule corresponding to campus events. Coordinate with vendor companies regarding printing, logistics, and setup of services. Manage requests for supplies and services required to execute events. Develop an evidence portfolio for completed events and safeguard all documentation (e.g., attendance lists, photographs, budgets, cost comparisons). Disseminate organizational information to teaching and administrative staff. Establish liaison with local media outlets of the campus. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, International Relations, or Communications. 2 years of experience in academic-administrative activities and customer service. Service-oriented attitude. Public relations skills. Sense of urgency. Competencies: Ceremonial protocols. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Writing and spelling proficiency. Innovation.
