If you are passionate about customer service and want to be part of an iconic city venue, **this opportunity is for you**. **Position: Kitchen Assistant** Assist in the operational activities of the kitchen department, contributing to the proper preparation of food, maintaining order and cleanliness, and complying with hygiene and safety standards—ensuring dish quality and smooth restaurant-café operations. **Duties and Responsibilities** * Assist in food preparation according to instructions from the Kitchen Supervisor and established recipes. * Perform pre-production tasks such as washing, cutting, and portioning ingredients. * Maintain order, cleanliness, and sanitation in work areas, equipment, and kitchen utensils. * Wash, disinfect, and properly store kitchen utensils, tools, and equipment. * Assist in plating and serving dishes during operations. * Verify proper handling, storage, and rotation of supplies (FIFO). * Comply with hygiene, safety, and food-handling standards. * Assist in basic inventory control and report shortages or losses. * Follow instructions from kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow. * Assist in closing procedures and general kitchen cleaning. **Afternoon Shift with Midweek Day Off** **Job Requirements** * **Education:** Completed junior high school (high school diploma preferred). * **Experience:** Not mandatory (experience in kitchens, restaurants, or cafés preferred). * **Technical Knowledge:** * Basic food handling. * Hygiene and food safety standards. * Basic use of kitchen utensils and equipment.
