Job Summary: Supervise overall store operations, lead the team, and ensure customer satisfaction through excellent service and sound operational processes. Key Responsibilities: 1. Lead and develop a team, fostering an optimal work environment. 2. Ensure customer satisfaction through reliable service and expert advice. 3. Manage store operations and inventory flawlessly. Supervise general operations across all store areas, serving as a role model for your team. Provide necessary direction and feedback to your direct reports to coordinate proper execution of store operational processes, creating an optimal work environment and delivering excellent service to our customers. * Authorize damaged and non-damaged returns resulting from defective merchandise, incorrect employee recommendations, or catalog errors—always placing the customer first and guaranteeing their full satisfaction. * Ensure all parts and products are in their designated locations within the store and that physical inventory matches system records by executing flawless weekly inventory maintenance tasks. * Supervise store operational activities, serving as a role model, and ensure employees provide expert customer advice and utilize all available tools—including the electronic catalog and diagnostic/test equipment provided by AutoZone—to deliver reliable guidance and genuine solutions to our customers’ needs, while also helping prevent returns through this practice. * Identify subordinates’ strengths and areas for development to assign appropriate tasks, recognize strong performance, and provide constructive feedback when improvement or training opportunities are identified. * Supervise daily adherence by all employees to scheduled work hours and AutoZone’s dress code, ensuring respectful, friendly, and professional interactions among themselves and with our customers—applying AutoZone’s guidelines and core values. * Review and analyze the Profit & Loss (P\&L) report each period to identify cost-control opportunities and contribute to improvements by promoting a culture of savings across all controllable expenses within the team. * Assign and monitor area responsibilities—including planogram setup, merchandise placement, warehouse cleaning, restrooms, cafeteria, sales floor, and parking lot—as well as review daily cash counts for the main register, perform cash sweeps, and conduct register closings for assigned staff following AutoZone-provided procedures. * Supervise and ensure employees wear AutoZone-provided safety equipment—including belts, gloves, aprons, and safety glasses—when handling merchandise, performing vehicle tests, or working at in-store test stations, thereby preventing workplace accidents and ensuring a safe environment for our employees. * High school diploma or equivalent * One to two years of supervisor experience in retail, warehouse, or store environments * Flexible availability to meet scheduling needs AutoZone Mexico is the leading distributor of automotive parts and accessories in the Americas.
