**Job Summary**
Supervise and control ground flight operations.
**Your Responsibilities:**
Flight Control
* Sending/receiving/distributing operational messages as previously agreed with the customer.
* Timely notification to operational and administrative departments, as well as external customers, regarding changes that may affect flight planning and resource allocation.
* Monitoring of air-to-ground communications to ensure timely and reliable information is provided to flight crews.
Flight Roster / Slot Coordination
* Preparation and updating of the flight roster, as well as its distribution to relevant operational and administrative departments.
* Coordination of slots with the relevant authority in a timely and appropriate manner to ensure landing, servicing, and takeoff according to scheduled itineraries.
* Monitoring of air-to-ground communications to ensure timely and reliable information is provided to flight crews.
Weight and Balance Preparation
* Reliable preparation of weight and balance calculations in accordance with each customer’s procedures.
* Implementation of last-minute changes and dissemination of related information to involved departments.
* Filing and storage of flight documentation in compliance with company and customer policies, adhering to established timelines and formats.
Flight Supervision
* Planning flights based on received operational messages and informing ramp personnel and other departments about required aircraft and personnel for service delivery.
Pre-flight briefing to the PIC.
* Supervising aircraft loading and servicing overall to guarantee safety and operational effectiveness throughout the time the aircraft remains on the ground until arrival at its next destination.
* Verifying that operational procedures across various departments are executed per customer requirements.
Flight Plan Coordination
* Coordinating flight plans in a timely and appropriate manner to ensure authorization of aircraft departure as scheduled.
* Storing resulting documentation within established timelines.
ULD and Customer Supplies Control
* Maintaining ULD inventory and submitting reports at intervals specified by the customer.
* Maintaining stationery and equipment inventories in accordance with required maximum and minimum levels.
Report Preparation
* Preparing operational reports requested by internal and external customers within stipulated deadlines.
* Delivering quality reports on time as established.
**Your Profile**
* **Valid Aeronautical Operations Officer license certified by AFAC.**
* **Medical examination approved by an institution certified by AFAC.**
* Minimum two years’ experience as an Aeronautical Operations Officer.
