Functions and Activities
* Regulatory Updates: Ensure all procedures and trainings comply with current mining safety laws (e.g., DS 024\-2016\-EM in Peru, STPS standards in Mexico).
* Development of Preventive Culture: Raise personnel awareness regarding the importance of safety, encouraging safe behavior and proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
* Maintain up-to-date training records, evaluations, and certifications (e.g., DC\-3 or similar documents) for internal and external audits.
* Evaluate and certify heavy equipment operators (Scoop\-Tram, Jumbos, trucks, etc.) and general personnel, ensuring they possess the necessary competencies to work safely.
* Training Design and Delivery: Develop, update, and implement the annual training, induction, and re-induction plan on Occupational Health and Safety (OHS), adapting content to specific mining operational risks.
