VACANT POSITION: Specialist Nurse General Objective of the position: Efficiently carry out the dispensing and control of medications and medical supplies according to regulations, ensuring timely patient care and patient safety Main Responsibilities: * Classify and organize medications and other health supplies according to established procedures. * Review and record expiration dates of medications nearing expiry and report to the Sanitary Responsible Officer. * Return to suppliers medications in poor condition, with short expiration dates, or with costs differing from the purchase order. * Dispense and promptly attend to requests from nursing services. * Know the active ingredient and commercial name of medications. * Classify, organize, and keep updated the stock of the basic list of medications and supplies according to regulations. * Check and record refrigerator temperature, humidity, and ambient conditions according to established storage standards for proper medication preservation. * Hand over and receive shifts, thoroughly verifying all pending tasks. * Keep shelves, refrigerators, and the overall area clean and organized. * Prepare daily medication purchase reports.
