Job Summary: We are seeking an active and responsible Electromechanical Technician for preventive and corrective maintenance of machinery, welding work, electrical and mechanical repairs, and installations. Key Highlights: 1. Performs preventive and corrective mechanical maintenance on machinery. 2. Carries out welding work and electrical/mechanical repairs. 3. Participates in installations for plant and office facilities. American Standard is seeking an Electromechanical Technician. Requirements: * Knowledge of applicable safety and quality standards within the work area. * Education – High school diploma preferred; technical degree or related field desirable. * Experience – Minimum 6 months in maintenance. * Competencies – Must be active, responsible, and capable of performing diverse tasks. Responsibilities: * Perform preventive and corrective mechanical maintenance on machinery in general. * Fabricate and install pipe supports. * Carry out welding work. * Repair production carts. * Service electric and pneumatic hoists. * Perform electromechanical work. * Repair and adjust mechanical devices (gear reducers, pumps, blungers). * Repair short circuits in the plant’s main machines. * Carry out installations for plant and office facilities. * Fabricate and install control panels for new machinery and office equipment. * Perform repairs on benches, furnace transfers, and turbochargers to ensure proper operation.
