A construction company is currently seeking a Maintenance Supervisor.
Job Objective: Reduce downtime, overspending, and unnecessary rentals by administering preventive and corrective maintenance tasks, and managing human, financial, and technical resources to ensure the availability, reliability, safety, and cost-effectiveness of the company's machinery and equipment.
**Responsibilities:**
* Plan, schedule, and supervise preventive (based on machine hours), corrective, and predictive maintenance for all heavy machinery (excavators, front-end loaders, bulldozers, motor graders, compactors, backhoe loaders, etc.)
* Reduce machinery downtime due to breakdowns according to target goals.
* Manage suppliers and inventory of spare parts, lubricants, and maintenance materials, optimizing costs.
**Education Requirements:**
* Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electromechanical, or Industrial Engineering (or equivalent), or currently completing the program
* University-level Technical Degree in Heavy Machinery Maintenance or Diesel Mechanics will be considered with verifiable experience.
**Minimum 5 years of experience in construction, earthworks, infrastructure, or mining companies**
**Specific Knowledge:**
* Heavy-duty diesel engine systems (Cummins, Caterpillar, Perkins, etc.)
* High-pressure hydraulic systems
* Electrical and electronic systems of modern machinery
* Reading and interpreting technical manuals, hydraulic and electrical diagrams
* Industrial welding (SMAW, MIG) and basic machining
* Advanced Excel
