A leading construction company is seeking a Unit Price Engineer for Retail Construction projects. **Full job description** Responsibilities: * Complete execution of detailed item catalogs, by work items and sub-items. * Perform unit price analysis (UPA) using cost analysis matrices (materials, labor, tools, and waste). * Conduct unit price and item analysis, cost-per-hour analysis, and material and labor productivity analysis. * Quantify through blueprint reading or site visits to generate catalogs. * Analyze blueprints, technical specifications, and project requirements according to client scope requests. * Develop UPA databases with matrices and input breakdowns, aligned with company activities and the healthcare construction sector. Requirements: * Education: Bachelor's degree in Architecture or Engineering (graduated). * Minimum 2 to 5 years of demonstrable experience in developing item catalogs, budgets, unit price analysis, and quantification. * Advanced Excel skills (90%), AutoCAD (80%), Neodata/OPUS (80%), focused on budgeting, quantification, and blueprint reading. Revit knowledge (optional). * Prior field experience as a Supervisor or Site Resident before working in cost estimation and budgeting. * Experience developing budgets in Excel. Knowledge: * Knowledge of construction execution in areas such as: Preliminaries, Masonry, Finishes, Ironwork, Glazing, Carpentry, CCTV, Electrical, Plumbing, Sanitary, Air Conditioning. * Knowledge of construction materials and construction processes (White, Gray, and Black works). * Preferably experience working with construction firms in the healthcare sector. * Up-to-date knowledge of labor costs. * Knowledge of updating construction prices. * Expertise in productivity rates, unit price analysis, hourly costs, indirect costs, and quantifications. * Knowledge and experience in special installations for scope review and budget breakdown (fire protection systems, fire suppression, basic HVAC knowledge, medical gases). * Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints (AutoCAD-Revit).
