





At Grupo Pixca we are looking for talent **Creative Pastry Chef** Plan, organize, and manage the production pastry kitchen regarding the preparation, presentation, and distribution of desserts, cakes, and baked goods in general to dining areas and banquets, ensuring compliance with the company's quality and hygiene standards. **Responsibilities:** * Ensure adherence to basic recipes to meet quality standards, producing cakes, tarts, pies, and various daily desserts according to recipe and quality specifications. * Review service orders together with bakery and pastry assistants to coordinate daily tasks. * Prepare all assigned pastry products on time according to established quality and control standards. Check flavor, temperature, and food appearance. * Supervise cleanliness of the work area and kitchen utensils to ensure hygienic handling of products and compliance with established quality controls. * Supervise the use and reuse of products and ingredients, as well as their storage, to prevent unnecessary waste. * Know and apply sanitation guidelines according to Distintivo H standards for kitchen and restaurant staff. * Inspect food deliveries to ensure they meet established quality levels. * Ensure menu variety by offering local and seasonal specialties, and supervise the creation of attractive food displays. * The position holder is responsible for supervising and training pastry and bakery staff. Attendance at menu tastings is recommended to advise customers on product quality, presentation, originality, and decoration. * Attend weekly meetings for banquet planning and feedback. * Prepare warehouse requisitions and purchase requests for supplies.
