Join us in advancing our mission to extend lives and expand possibilities. **Your role at Vantive:** * Implement corporate and local regulatory guidelines regarding environment, occupational health, and industrial safety at the CIVAC plant, as well as follow up on corrective and/or preventive actions for findings identified during audits. Serve as support for Baxter operations in terms of EHSS **What you will do:** * Promote a culture of compliance with regulations and ethical business practices within the organization. * Coordinate, administer, educate, plan, and monitor EHS programs within the company. * Ensure proper implementation of EHS policies, procedures, reports, and plans for accident control and prevention among contractors, suppliers, visitors, and employees across all projects. * Manage all legal compliance procedures required for project development. * Follow up and ensure compliance with conditions established by various government entities regarding EHS for resolutions received at the site, derived from different projects. * Establish general and specific EHS training programs. * Review and approve risk assessments, validations, and qualifications of various equipment and processes involved in projects from an EHS perspective. * Maintain and retain required EHS documents within the organization according to BPD. * Maintain EHS management system certifications (ISO 14001 & ISO 45001, Clean Industry, Safe Industry). * Ensure safety and physical integrity of all personnel directly or indirectly participating in assigned project activities, plant operations, and all employees; when necessary, and to prevent any harm to people, facilities, and/or the environment, has the authority to interrupt operations, equipment/machinery, or activities associated with identified hazards/risks until mitigation or control is achieved. * Develop and implement safety strategies based on legal and corporate guidelines to contribute to a culture of workplace risk prevention. * Monitor compliance with Occupational Health policies and provide support when required. * Ensure the quality and accuracy of data entered into Benchmark. * Develop and maintain systems to keep plant operations and processes aligned with current corporate and legal frameworks in Safety, Hygiene, and Environment. * Support property security and C-TPAT activities when required. * Compliance with EHS policy, internal safety procedures, and reporting unsafe conditions/incidents/accidents at all times is the responsibility of everyone working in this company. * Halt processes that do not meet Safety and Environmental requirements, and seek compliance alternatives within the compliance framework. * Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide resources promoting employee participation in Behavior-Based Safety programs and establish EHS follow-up in various forums to contribute to a ZERO ACCIDENTS culture. * Coordinate required activities outlined in the emergency response plan to ensure business continuity (BCP), as well as ensure maintenance of fire protection systems. * Run periodic certification processes for EHSS programs such as: forklift and pallet jack operation certification, electrical safety, LOTO, Heights, Confined Spaces, Pressure Vessels, etc. * Provide weekly visibility of KPIs to work teams and follow up on required action plans. * Manage the annual internal EHSS audit program, as well as establish implementation and improvement opportunities derived from ISO 14001 & ISO 45001. * Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate EHS considerations into new projects, processes, and equipment design to ensure EHS requirement compliance. * Guarantee the establishment, implementation, and maintenance of environmental management, industrial safety and hygiene, and Occupational Health (SST) systems for projects under your responsibility. * Report back to senior management on the Environmental and SST management system, including performance and improvement opportunities. **What you will bring:** 1\. 5 to 7 years of experience in the EHSS field. 2\. Knowledge of Clean Industry and Safe Industry programs and ISO 14001, ISO 45001 management systems. 3\. Knowledge of Local Health Regulations (COFEPRIS) and international standards ISO 9001 / ISO 13485. 4\.
