Excellent working environment within a family-oriented and approachable educational project **Position: Educational Robotics Instructor (Arduino)** Mode: In-person (Emiliano Zapata) Employment Type: Project-based / Summer Course (with potential extension) Job Description At RobiKids, we are looking for a passionate Robotics Instructor who loves technology and teaching to deliver in-person classes to children and youth during our upcoming summer course. Unlike closed systems, this course uses open-source electronics (Arduino). We emphasize hands-on learning, where students not only program but also assemble their own circuits—cultivating logical thinking, creativity, and problem-solving skills in a dynamic and family-friendly environment. Main Responsibilities * Deliver educational robotics and programming classes using the Arduino ecosystem. * Guide students through project design, breadboard assembly, and programming of physical projects (sensors, actuators, and microcontrollers). * Explain fundamental electronics concepts and programming logic clearly, accessibly, and playfully to students. * Diagnose and assist students in resolving common hardware connection or code errors (debugging). * Maintain classroom management, ensuring a safe, respectful, and highly motivating learning environment. Requirements * Education: Advanced student or graduate in Systems Engineering, Mechatronics, Electronics, or related fields (with strong programming logic foundation). * Technical Knowledge: Proficiency with the Arduino IDE or block-based programming environments applied to hardware (Tinkercad / Scratch). * Proficiency in C/C++-based languages (or ease of adaptation due to experience with Java/C#). * Basic electronics knowledge: use of breadboards, reading simple schematics, connecting LEDs, resistors, motors, and sensors (ultrasonic, light, temperature, etc.). * Soft Skills: Exceptional patience, empathy, excellent communication, and ability to convey complex concepts to children and youth. * Location: Availability to work in the Emiliano Zapata area.
