Data Engineer - Migration

Job Summary: We are seeking a Data Engineer specialized in migration to design, develop, and execute data flows for centralizing and transforming information into a new ERP platform. Key Highlights: 1. Design and implementation of data pipelines for legacy system migration. 2. Centralization of information in a Data Warehouse (Snowflake). 3. Data transformation and enrichment for migration to Oracle MFCS. We are looking for candidates to fill the position of **Data Engineer \- Migration**, assigned to a client located in the municipality of Monterrey, NL. Responsibilities: * Design, develop, and execute data flows (pipelines) required to extract information from legacy systems, centralize it in our Data Warehouse (Snowflake), and subsequently clean, standardize, and enrich it — with the objective of generating the final data inputs required for migration to the new Oracle MFCS ERP platform. * Requirements: * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. * Minimum of 2 successful data migration projects using Snowflake as the staging area. * Data Transformation (ELT/ETL): experience with ETL tools such as dbt (Data Build Tool), Informatica, or DataStage (preferably). * Python: for automating data scripts and handling APIs. * Oracle Database/SQL: in-depth knowledge of SQL and PL/SQL to understand business logic of source systems. * Cloud Migration: understanding of challenges involved in "on-premise to cloud" migrations. * Familiarity with Retail/Merchandising (MFCS) or Oracle Cloud ERP. * Immediate availability Duration: 6-month project, with possibility of extension Work Mode: On-site (hybrid mode may be negotiable) Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM Statutory Benefits Employment Type: Project-based or fixed-term contract Contract Duration: 6 months Salary: Up to $60,000.00 per month Education: * Completed Bachelor's degree (Preferred) Experience: * Snowflake: 3 years (Preferred) * ETL: 3 years (Preferred) * Python: 3 years (Preferred) * MFCS: 3 years (Preferred) * Data Engineer: 3 years (Preferred) Work Location: On-site employment
