Quality control in printing processes and calibration **Position:** *Recent Graduate Technician* ***Job Description.*** *Ensure correct operation, adjustment, and process control, guaranteeing product quality, operational efficiency, and process stability through proper configuration of equipment, materials, and critical parameters.* ***Job Responsibilities.*** * *Execute startup, adjustment, and operation of screen printing machines, ensuring optimal conditions.* * *Perform print adjustment: registration, pressure, speed, and synchronization.* * *Adjust, replace, and assemble squeegee and flood bar, ensuring appropriate pressure and angle.* * *Install and adjust screens, verifying tension, alignment, and registration.* * *Prepare and validate formulated inks (viscosity, compatibility, and application).* * *Adjust flame for surface treatment, ensuring correct surface energy.* * *Apply ink and conduct quality tests: adhesion and dyna verification.* * *Adjust UV lamp (power, position, and number of passes) for proper curing.* * *Adjust and control critical process parameters.* * *Start up machine following established procedures.* * *Verify print shots (registration and repeatability).* * *Diagnose machine behavior and detect deviations.* * *Diagnose and resolve mechanical and operational failures.* * *Change artwork, ensuring correct transition.* * *Replace tooling, inspect and clean shocks and components.* * *Diagnose, detect, and correct quality defects.* * *Adjust and calibrate vision camera.* * *Release product quality per specifications.* ***Minimum Requirements.*** * *Technical or engineering degree (Machines and Tools, Industrial, Mechanical, Processes, or related field).* * *Technician in Machines and Tools or Design with 90 average.* * *Knowledge of industrial screen printing for packaging (plastic, glass, or metal).* * *Proficiency in UV inks and curing systems.* * *Interpretation and control of critical process parameters.* * *Knowledge of adhesion, surface energy (dynes), and flame treatment.* * *Mechanical and operational diagnosis of machinery.* * *Quality control in printing processes.* * *Interpretation of mechanical drawings.* * *Experience handling manual tools.* * *Proficiency in using tablets and PCs for machine adjustment.* **Performance Indicators (KPIs)** · *Printing defect rejection rate: 1%* · *Startup efficiency (setup time): 95%* · *Process parameter compliance: 100%* · *Response time to failures: 5 minutes* · *Compliance with quality standards* · Scrap: 2% · *Consistent productivity at 85%* · *Compliance with standard cycle: 38 pieces per minute* · *Compliance with available cavity production* · *Participation in continuous improvement: minimum 2 projects per semester (quality, productivity)* ***Functional Competencies.*** * *Analytical approach and problem-solving* * *Attention to detail* * *Working under pressure* * *Operational decision-making* * *Discipline in process compliance* * *Development of analytical critical thinking* * *Minimum IQ: 100* * *Analytical, follow-up (drive and standardization)* * *D2 Evaluation* Salary: $18,000.00 - $19,000.00 per month Benefits: * Salary increases * Transportation allowance or service * Company parking * Free parking * Option for indefinite-term contract * Referral program * Life insurance * Cafeteria service * Discounted cafeteria service * Free uniforms * Grocery vouchers Work Location: On-site employment
