




* This position is for a **Fast Food / Quick Service Cook Assistant**, focused on food preparation in the kitchen line. **Basic Job Description:** Responsible for efficiently and consistently preparing menu items according to standardized recipes and hygiene standards, using cooking equipment such as the **fryer**, the **griddle or grill**, and the **cold prep station**. Additionally, supports general cleaning and organization of the work area and storage room. **Key Responsibilities:** * **Hot Food Preparation:** * Operate and monitor the **fryer** to cook products (e.g., French fries, chicken nuggets), ensuring proper doneness and quality. * Operate the **griddle/grill** to cook meats and other ingredients (e.g., hamburgers, sausages), controlling cooking times and temperatures. * **Cold Food Preparation and Assembly:** * Work at the **cold prep station** to slice, assemble, and plate sandwich ingredients, salads, and side dishes while maintaining the cold chain. * Accurately plate or package final orders. * **Support and Cleaning Tasks:** * Assist with initial preparations ("mise en place"), such as chopping vegetables, portioning ingredients, and thawing products. * Maintain cleaning and disinfection of equipment (fryer, griddle, cold prep station) and the work area per hygiene standards. * Support **storage room/warehouse organization and arrangement**, including cold storage units, rotating stock (PEPS or FIFO method). **Key Requirements:** * Ability to work at a **fast pace** and under pressure. * Knowledge of and strict adherence to **food safety and hygiene standards**. * Ability to follow **standardized instructions and recipes**. * Willingness to work as part of a **team** and perform rotating shifts.
