Leadership in traffic, workshop, and regulatory compliance ### **Heavy Equipment Manager** Salary: $40,000 gross per month **Must currently reside in Nuevo Leon to apply.** **Job Description:** A precast concrete company seeks a Heavy Equipment Manager responsible for comprehensive management of the company's machinery and equipment, ensuring operational availability, mechanical reliability, cost control, adherence to maintenance schedules, and proper management of traffic and logistics for equipment relocation, supporting profitable and timely project execution. **Main Responsibilities:** * Plan and supervise equipment logistics for shipments and installations, including tractor-trailers, flatbeds, articulated cranes, generators, welders, and construction site machinery. * Schedule, evaluate, and optimize preventive and corrective maintenance for all the company's mobile equipment. * Organize and control maintenance logs, work orders, and associated costs (spare parts, labor, tools, and equipment). * Coordinate administrative and accounting record-keeping and control for departmental processes. * Establish traffic and workshop procedures to ensure operational efficiency and continuous improvement. * Ensure all units are equipped with GPS, insurance policies, state and federal permits, technical inspections, and regulatory compliance. * Maintain relations with traffic authorities and supervise regulatory compliance. * Supervise Traffic Supervisor and Workshop Supervisor. **Requirements:** * Education: Mechanical, Industrial, Electromechanical, or Logistics Engineering, or related field. * Experience: * 8 years managing heavy equipment in construction or similar industries. * 5 years in preventive and corrective maintenance. * 5 years in traffic, logistics, and heavy equipment transportation. * 3 years in operational cost and budget control. **Required Knowledge:** * Maintenance management for major and minor machinery. * Internal fleet traffic logistics for fleets exceeding 100 units. * Regulatory frameworks and administration of transportation, safety, and machinery operations. * Operational cost control and maintenance budgeting. * Traffic, logistics, and heavy equipment transportation. * Advanced Excel, Word, SAP, Neodata, or heavy equipment management software proficiency. **Competencies:** * Organization and control. * Effective communication. * Results-oriented mindset. * Decision-making ability. * Ability to work under pressure. * Adaptability and leadership. * Integrity and analytical thinking. **Working Conditions:** * Working Hours: * Monday to Friday: 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM * Saturday: 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM (every other Saturday) * Gross monthly salary: $40,000\. * Weekly payment. * Statutory benefits. * Individual major medical expense insurance with optional family coverage. * Life insurance. * Punctuality bonus. * Attendance bonus. * Grocery vouchers (these three included in the salary).
