Your talent can inspire an entire community; we are looking for: **Director of Gender Equity and Inclusion.** ***Objective*** To lead the CEGI with strategic and operational vision to ensure the prevention of gender-based violence and discrimination, provide case management and follow-up, and establish partnerships that support the creation of safe spaces for the university community, promoting a culture of equality, inclusion, and respect for human dignity, aligned with UDEM’s institutional principles and values. ***Main Responsibilities:*** * Lead the institutional strategy on equity, gender perspective, and human rights approaches to help build safe environments aligned with UDEM's values and principles. * Identify community needs and develop programs and services that contribute to creating a safe and violence-free environment. * Integrate gender perspective across all academic, administrative, and leadership functions. * Establish bodies that support the mission of the CEGI, such as: the Commission for Handling Gender-Based Violence Cases, the Specialized Tribunal on Gender and Inclusion, the Advisory Committee on Gender and Inclusion, high school representatives' team, and liaisons from vice-rectorships. * Raise awareness, train, and provide education on topics related to the prevention of gender-based violence for the entire University Community. * Coordinate comprehensive support, guidance, and accompaniment for individuals reporting incidents of gender-based violence or discrimination. * Strengthen strategic relationships within UDEM and with various sectors of society to promote the prevention and eradication of gender-based violence. ***Academic Requirements:*** Master's degree Law, psychology, political science, sociology, anthropology, or related fields. 5 years of experience in gender perspective or human rights within educational institutions, public sector, or civil society. **Become part of the UDEM community and help shape the future of our students!**
