Together, we are building a better world, so we can all enjoy living in it. **Role Definition** Supervises and manages the facilities maintenance team, tracking generated work orders, managing budget, and using SAP. **Responsibilities** * Departmental budget management. * Internal customer support (offices, production line, etc.). * Vendor support. * Purchase order follow-up. * Departmental metrics management (closed notifications). * Support for instrumentation technicians in decision-making. **Academic Requirements** Completed engineering degree in electrical, electronics, mechanical, maintenance, or related fields. **Competencies and Skills** **Decision-Making and Critical Thinking:** * Knowledge of LEAN methodologies. * Knowledge of maintenance methodologies (TPM, RCM). * Ability to communicate effectively across departments. **Planning and Organization:** * Knowledge of the PDCA cycle. * Payroll and vacation management for staff. * Knowledge of preventive maintenance planning. **Problem Solving:** * RCCA, 8D’s, Ishikawa, 5 Whys. **Total Productive Maintenance (TPM):** * Knowledge of maintenance management (autonomous, preventive, predictive). **Additional Information** * **Location:** Santa Catarina. * **Schedule:** Monday to Friday (6:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.). * Availability to rotate shifts and cover weekends (as required by team role). * Availability to travel (5% domestic). * English: Basic (preferred). **Top Candidates Will Have:** * Knowledge of facilities systems (electrical, hydraulic, mechanical). * Knowledge of water treatment. * Basic construction knowledge. **Final Details** Caterpillar’s Code of Conduct states that we will select and assign employees based on their qualifications for the position, without regard to race, religion, national origin, color, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, or disability.
