Job Summary: Provide comprehensive support to engineers and operational staff to achieve production and efficiency goals through technical support, data management, and continuous improvement. Collaboration in the introduction of new technologies Job Objective: Provide comprehensive support to on-site tooling engineers and operational staff to achieve the plant's production and efficiency goals. Key Responsibilities Technical Support: Collaborate on tool changes, introduction of new technologies, and support the site Program Manager. Data Management: Collect information for developing performance indicators (KPIs) and support updating the PFEP. Quality Documentation: Develop and maintain up-to-date work instructions and documented process information. Continuous Improvement: Identify solutions to engineering problems, participate in root cause analysis, and promote quality improvements and cost savings. Strategic Relationships: Maintain open communication with suppliers and coordinate activities with Engineering Managers to correct non-conforming outputs. Required Profile Education: Graduate or recent graduate in Mechanical, Electrical, Electromechanical, Industrial Engineering, or related field. Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in the metalworking and/or automotive industry (professional internships or equivalent projects accepted). Languages: Intermediate-to-advanced English. Digital Tools: Proficiency in Excel with at least 1 year of applied experience. Technical Knowledge Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, JIT, and SMED. Basic knowledge of cutting, clamping, and fixturing tools.
