Accident investigation and handling of safety audits Job Objective Implement occupational safety strategies, processes, and programs focused on preventing risks and accidents within operations, ensuring personnel integrity, compliance with safety regulations, and applicable legal provisions. Responsibilities Conduct safety inspections to identify hazards and risks in operational areas, ensuring compliance with safety talks and monthly indicators. Evaluate and monitor suppliers related to industrial safety, personal protective equipment, fire suppression, chemical handling, and specialized consulting services. Coordinate internal and external safety training for operational staff, promoting prevention and a safety culture. Verify compliance with applicable safety regulations for facilities, machinery, equipment, and operational processes. Coordinate and monitor the Safety and Hygiene Committee, emergency brigades, and civil protection activities. Investigate occupational accidents and incidents, preparing reports and documentation for potential work-related risks. Handle internal, external, and competent authority audits and inspections, including those by STPS and Civil Protection. Requirements Education Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety and Hygiene, Industrial Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related technical field. Experience Minimum 1 year of experience in roles related to occupational safety or industrial safety.
