




* **JOB PURPOSE** Maintain all production equipment in optimal operating condition whenever required, through the application of predictive, preventive, and corrective maintenance, focused on continuous improvement and based on priority control via work orders. **Education:** High school diploma / Technical degree (Electricity, Mechanics, Electronics) **Gender:** Not specified **Age:** 25 to 45 years old **Experience:** 3 years in a similar position involving plastic extrusion machines. **Additional training:** * Intermediate or Advanced Predictive, Preventive, and Corrective Maintenance * Intermediate or Advanced Industrial Electricity * Intermediate or Advanced Industrial Mechanics * Intermediate or Advanced Electrical Control * Intermediate Industrial Electronics **Responsibilities and activities:** Receive work orders generated by production personnel or any other department within the company; perform interventions; properly complete spare parts requisition forms; and provide a detailed description of all activities carried out during the intervention in the Work Order (WO). * Identify and report spare parts required for equipment repair that are not available in the VQ system or warehouse; likewise, propose improvements to such spare parts when applicable. * Perform repairs or modifications to production area equipment as needed during one’s shift or for special tasks scheduled under planned maintenance. * Carry out assigned tasks from the Preventive Maintenance Program, as directed by the Maintenance Supervisor. * Apply analysis focused on equipment maintenance, operation, and performance to develop continuous improvement actions in coordination with the Maintenance Supervisor. * Maintain assigned tools in functional condition and request tool improvements from the Engineering Leader when necessary. * Record all activities performed within the company, whether or not a Work Order exists. * Comply with the Internal Labor Regulations. * Comply with Maintenance Department guidelines for equipment interventions. * Responsible for ensuring operational readiness of company equipment required for production during one’s shift or scheduled maintenance. * Responsible for mechanical maintenance activities—corrective and preventive—as assigned by the Shift Leader or Maintenance Supervisor, as applicable. * Responsible for actively attending company-provided training sessions. * Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) for each activity. * Keep one’s work area, locker, and tool box clean and organized. * Actively participate in achieving personal and departmental goals. * Ensure quality of one’s work. * Responsible for meeting safety and quality standards for equipment after each intervention. * Actively participate in implementing food safety programs, as well as maintaining GMPs and HACCP. * Attend GMP and HACCP training courses. * Know and apply GMPs in one’s work areas. * Comply, within one’s area of responsibility, with SHE (Safety, Hygiene, and Environment) regulations and standards, Quality Management System requirements, Prerequisite Programs, GMPs, and food safety standards—including FSSC 22000 and ISO 9000. * Actively participate in implementing the Quality Management System, Prerequisite Programs, GMPs, and food safety programs—including FSSC 22000 and ISO 9000. * Follow up on completion of records related to the Quality Management System, Prerequisite Programs, GMPs, and food safety—including FSSC 22000 and ISO 9000. **Offers:** * Two 12-hour rotating shifts * Works 4 days and rests 2 days (rest days rotate weekly). * + Overtime pay * Transportation (short route) * Benefits exceeding legal requirements Employment type: Full-time Salary: Starting at $19,000.00 per month Benefits: * Company parking * Free uniforms * Food vouchers Education: * Completed technical degree (Mandatory) Experience: * Plastic extrusion machine maintenance: 1 year (Desirable) * Electromechanical technician: 3 years (Mandatory) Work location: On-site employment
