A company driven by our people.** Job Description Perform shift startup by verifying that units are in the system; located at supplier or in transit. Complete the operational shift closure and deliver handover reports expressing critical issues. (Mechanical failures, deviations, ASN entry problems, expedited shipments, and delays in transit or from supplier). Record in the planning file any empty trailers released during the shift for next-day scheduling. Validate photographic evidence of loaded/empty units within BMW against the system and planning file to correctly upload information into the next pickup system. Validate photographic evidence of cargo securement (complete securing equipment). Monitor expedited shipments generated during the shift and escalate any delivery risks according to the escalation matrix. Notify the coordinator of any process deviation causing delays based on the escalation matrix. Follow up on trailers with returnables prior to departure from BMW and while in transit to supplier, create corresponding CDFIS (Inbound/Outbound), perform inventory of available containers. Verify GPS devices are reporting at the start of transit and notify the Coordinator of any incidents where GPS is not reporting. Requirements * Bachelor’s degree or Engineering studies incomplete or TSU. * Basic English. * Excel (Pivot Tables, Charts, VLOOKUPS). * 1 year of experience. * ERP and SAP knowledge. * Availability to work rotating shifts.
