HR Systems Analyst
The HR Systems Analyst is responsible for analyzing, maintaining, and optimizing Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) to support efficient HR operations. This role ensures data integrity, delivers key system insights, and collaborates with HR and business leaders to improve processes through technology and reporting. The HRIS Analyst plays a critical role in configuration, incident resolution, data analysis, and continuous improvement of HR systems.
Additionally, this role administers payments, pre-payroll, and compensation for associates; focuses on developing and managing compensation and benefits programs for associates; and aims to attract, motivate, and retain talent—aligning strategies with the company’s overall objectives.
Responsible for attracting, identifying, and hiring top talent to meet the organization’s current and future workforce needs. This role closely collaborates with hiring leaders, the HR department, and business leaders to understand talent requirements, develop recruitment strategies, and deliver a strong candidate experience. It plays a key role in ensuring hiring decisions support business goals, organizational culture, and long-term capability building.
**Education and Experience:**
* Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Law, or related fields.
* Minimum of 3 years of experience in similar HR roles.
* Intermediate English proficiency.
* Responsible for managing Workday, pre-payroll and compensation processes, related analysis, and maintaining and optimizing the organization’s HRIS (Workday/TRESS).
* This role ensures data accuracy (hires, terminations, salary changes) and is responsible for generating employee letters. Additionally, it delivers reports and analyses, collaborating closely with HR, IT, Payroll, and business leaders to ensure systems operate efficiently, securely, and aligned with organizational needs.
* Manages personnel files to maintain complete documentation archives.
* Analyzes trends in workforce metrics—such as absenteeism, turnover, and satisfaction—to recommend improvements.
* Manages Workday for accurate personnel administration.
* Calculates and processes associate pre-payroll according to the established schedule.
* Records and processes incidents related to absences, leaves, disabilities, vacations, salary adjustments, and any other items affecting payment.
* Addresses inquiries and resolves issues related to associate payroll.
* Keeps payroll files up to date, ensuring all information is accurately recorded.
* Ensures confidentiality and security of employee data.
* Generates periodic payroll cost reports, payroll analyses, and other reports requested by HR management.
* Develops and manages competitive and attractive compensation, bonus, incentive, and benefits policies.
* Aligns compensation strategies with business objectives and labor market conditions.
* Ensures internal equity and external competitiveness in salary structures.
* Conducts market studies and salary surveys to ensure compensation practices align with market trends.
* Implements and administers employee benefit plans—including health, life, retirement, and flexible benefits—among others.
* Develops and implements communication strategies so employees understand and value Total Rewards programs.
* Trains associates on available tools and benefits.
* Implements non-monetary recognition systems that foster organizational culture and associate motivation.
* Leads and executes talent attraction, selection, and hiring strategies to ensure onboarding of highly qualified candidates aligned with BD’s culture and values—contributing to achievement of business objectives and strengthening the People component of BD Excellence.
* Designs and implements innovative, business-aligned recruitment strategies.
* Develops and positions BD’s employer brand in the labor market.
* Manages multiple recruitment sources (job portals, universities, social media, job fairs).
* Uses data analytics to continuously improve attraction processes.
* Manages the full end-to-end recruitment cycle: posting, sourcing, interviews, evaluation, and offer.
* Ensures a positive candidate experience throughout the entire process.
* Applies competency-based interviews and assessment tools aligned with BD’s global standards.
* Ensures compliance with internal policies and legal requirements.
* Acts as a strategic partner to functional leaders to understand talent needs.
* Advises leaders on data-driven, best-practice hiring decisions.
* Monitors and reports key recruitment and hiring metrics: time-to-fill vacancies, quality of hire, candidate experience, process compliance, and audits.
* Promotes inclusive practices in selection processes.
* Ensures talent strategies foster diversity within the organization.
* Identifies opportunities for improvement in recruitment processes using Lean/Kaizen tools.
* Participates in continuous improvement initiatives and HR transformation projects.
* Keeps applicant tracking systems up to date.
* Ensures proper documentation of hiring files.
* Complies with regulatory guidelines, internal policies, and audits.
