This centralized production location allows us to easily serve our national and international customers, providing fast delivery service that meets your just-in-time inventory requirements **WE ARE SEEKING A PLANNING SUPERVISOR** * Industrial Engineering or related field * 3 years of experience in a similar position * Intermediate-advanced English ***DESIRED EXPERIENCE IN AN ELECTRICAL HARNESS MANUFACTURING COMPANY*** KNOWLEDGE: * Analyzes various sources of demand (forecasts, firm orders, etc.) and also assists in meetings with Production, Quality, Materials, and Engineering to develop feasible production plans. * Reviews customer requirements, negotiates potential product end-of-life activities, and includes them in WPS planning. * Uses CRP (Capacity Requirements Planning) techniques to increase, decrease, or maintain plant capacity; manages MPS/MRP parameters for planning. * May be involved in material requirements planning. * Controls finished goods inventory. * May work with customer service to coordinate on-time delivery. * Develops shipping plans according to customer requirements. * Verifies that assigned raw material part numbers support the production plan. * Tracks material status with procurement.
