This position combines technical work in documentation and digital modeling with direct shop floor interaction to ensure proper execution of assembly instructions. Our team participates in initiatives focused on process development and optimization, engineering change implementation, and compliance with stringent standards required by aerospace manufacturers such as Boeing and Bombardier. **Position Objective** Ensure the creation, updating, and correct implementation of assembly work instructions, integrating engineering requirements, OEM standards, and best manufacturing practices. The role entails a balance between office-based activities — documentation, modeling, and change management — and shop floor activities — communication, training, and process validation — guaranteeing reliable, standardized, and aviation-quality-aligned processes. **Key Responsibilities** **Work Instruction Management (Office – 50%)** * Develop, update, and maintain assembly work instructions in accordance with engineering, product, or process changes. * Ensure documents comply with specific aerospace customer standards and requirements (e.g., Boeing, Bombardier). * Create high-quality visual and technical content using **CATIA**, **Composer**, and other applicable PLM/MES systems. * Coordinate with manufacturing engineering, quality, and production teams to validate new methods and ensure technical feasibility. * Document new processes, required tools, assembly sequences, and key parameters. **Shop Floor Implementation and Support (Floor – 50%)** * Communicate, implement, and train operational personnel on changes to work instructions. * Monitor shop floor understanding and execution of new processes. * Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in assembly methods. * Conduct process audits to ensure documentation aligns with actual assembly conditions. * Serve as the technical liaison between engineering and production to resolve deviations, questions, or issues during assembly.
