Opportunity for professional growth and development in IT. **ON-SITE SUPPORT ENGINEER \| Escobedo, Nuevo León** A Mexican company specializing in Information Technologies is seeking an On-Site Support Engineer to join its IT Infrastructure and Operations team, providing on-site technical support and ensuring operational continuity of technology services within a high-demand industrial environment. **JOB OBJECTIVE** Provide specialized technical assistance and support to guarantee optimal performance of technological infrastructure, networks, telecommunications, and end-user equipment, ensuring operational continuity of IT services through efficient, timely, and standards- and SLA-aligned support as defined by the client. **LOCATION** * ZIP Code 66050, Ciudad General Escobedo, N.L. * On-site work mode. **WORK SCHEDULES** * First shift: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM * Second shift: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM **RESPONSIBILITIES** * Provide on-site technical support to end users. * Address incidents and requests related to hardware, software, networks, and telecommunications. * Configure and maintain PCs, laptops, printers, and videoconferencing equipment. * Provide support for Microsoft 365 tools such as Teams, OneDrive, and SharePoint. * Manage tickets and incidents in ServiceNow. * Document technical activities and Root Cause Analysis (RCA). * Coordinate warranty management and follow-up with external vendors. * Maintain up-to-date IT asset inventory. * Support configuration, maintenance, and monitoring of network infrastructure. * Conduct inspections and validations of equipment connectivity and functionality. * Perform preventive and corrective maintenance activities. * Escalate critical incidents when necessary. * Comply with client-defined SLAs. **Requirements** * Bachelor’s degree or engineering degree in Computer Systems, Information Technologies, Communications and Networks, or related field. * **Minimum 2 years of experience in:** * + On-site support. + Infrastructure and communications. + Networks and end-user support. * **Intermediate-to-advanced technical English (B2):** * + **Reading proficiency: 80%.** + **Writing and speaking proficiency: 50%.** * Availability to work rotating shifts. * Availability for remote or on-site response in case of critical incidents. * Availability for occasional travel. **TECHNICAL SKILLS** * Windows 10 or later administration and support. * Basic Microsoft 365 support and administration. * Active Directory. * VPN configuration and support. * Ticket management in ServiceNow. * Hardware and software fault diagnosis and resolution. * Preventive and corrective maintenance of PCs and laptops. * Structured cabling. * LAN/WAN/WLAN network fault diagnosis. * Basic switch and router configuration. * Support for videoconferencing and telephony equipment. * IT asset inventory and control management. * Knowledge of: * + Cisco CCNA. + HP Aruba. + Juniper Networks. + MOXA industrial equipment. + Linux/Unix. + Virtual machines. * Desired experience in: * + Microwave links and satellite links. + Telecommunications infrastructure. + ITIL. + Security and access control. **Benefits** * **Gross monthly salary: $28,000–$33,000 MXN (based on experience).** * **Quarterly bonus (BT3).** * **Gasoline allowance: $3,000 per month.** * Statutory benefits from day one. * Continuous training and certifications. * Opportunity for professional growth and development within the Infrastructure and IT Support area. **We are an equal opportunity employer.
