**The** **P** **osition** ------------------------ Implement prehospital and in-hospital strategies that optimize stroke patient care and increase the rate of patients treated with reperfusion therapy (intravenous or catheter administration). **Tasks and Responsibilities** ------------------------------ * Optimize diagnosis and treatment of stroke patients (EVC) in potential hospitals. * Develop centers prepared for acute stroke care (centers of excellence). * Ensure that the stroke team has all necessary scientific and support materials for effective stroke patient management. * Promote among centers the initiation and maintenance of a stroke patient care quality registry (EVC). Implement process evaluation trials for stroke care in participating hospitals to identify areas of opportunity and promote continuous improvement. * **Requirements** -------------- **Mandatory** --------------- * Medical professionals with medical degree and license. * Two years of clinical experience treating patients in emergency services at an institution. * Clinical experience in emergency patient care in a hospital setting. Knowledge of neurological assessment and/or interpretation of cranial diagnostic imaging. Advanced Intermediate English. * **Desirable** ------------- * Clinical postgraduate degree or master's degree.
