Kitchen Operations Assistant At KIICHPAM, we are looking for a responsible, quick, organized, and committed individual to join our kitchen team. We seek someone adaptable, with basic kitchen experience and willingness to support various operational areas as needed by service requirements. Work area: Greater San Pedro Cholul, Mérida, Yucatán Schedule: Monday to Saturday, 6:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Starting salary: $10,500 to $11,000 gross monthly, depending on experience and aptitude Statutory benefits \+ tips Meals provided during shift Opportunity for growth and development Key responsibilities: * Basic preparation and production of food for breakfast and brunch * Support in plating and serving dishes during service * Basic preparation of ingredients, sauces, and preps * Washing and organizing utensils, equipment, and work areas as needed * Receiving, organizing, and storing supplies and products * Supporting general cleaning and maintaining order in the kitchen * Basic product and refrigeration inspection and rotation * Following recipes, portion sizes, and operational instructions * Maintaining speed, cleanliness, and organization during service * Supporting various kitchen-specific operational tasks as required by service needs Requirements: * Male or female, aged 25 to 40 * Minimum 1 year of experience in kitchens, cafeterias, or restaurants * Speed, cleanliness, and organization are essential * Ability to perform physically demanding and dynamic work * Good personal hygiene and professional appearance * Genuine punctuality and responsibility * Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively in a team * Professionally stable and committed individual * Immediate availability * Preference for candidates residing near northern Mérida We especially value consistent, responsible individuals with genuine willingness to work in a kitchen environment.
