Position Summary: Supervise the store's overall operations, lead the team, and ensure customer satisfaction through correct operational processes and an optimal work environment. Key Highlights: 1. Ensures customer satisfaction and inventory control Supervise general operations across all store areas, serving as a role model for your team. Provide necessary direction and feedback to your direct reports to coordinate proper execution of store operational processes, creating an optimal work environment and delivering excellent service to our customers. * Authorize damaged and non-damaged returns resulting from defective merchandise, incorrect employee recommendations, or catalog errors—always placing the customer first and guaranteeing their full satisfaction. * Ensure all parts and products are located in their assigned positions within the store and that physical inventory matches system records by executing flawless weekly inventory maintenance tasks. * Supervise store operational activities, serving as a role model, and ensure employees provide customer consultation and utilize all tools provided by AutoZone—including the electronic catalog and testing/diagnostic equipment—to deliver reliable advice and genuine solutions to our customers’ needs, while also helping prevent merchandise returns through this practice. * Identify subordinates’ strengths and areas for improvement to assign appropriate tasks, recognize strong performance, and provide feedback when improvement or training opportunities are detected. * Supervise daily adherence by all employees to scheduled working hours and AutoZone’s dress code; ensure respectful, courteous, and professional interactions among themselves and with our customers, consistently applying AutoZone’s guidelines and values. * Review and analyze the Profit & Loss (P\&L) report each period to identify opportunities for expense control and contribute to improving them by promoting a culture of savings across all controllable consumables within the team. * Assign and follow up on tasks for area supervisors—including planogram setup, merchandise arrangement, warehouse cleaning, restrooms, cafeteria, sales floor, parking lot—as well as reviewing daily cash counts for the main register, performing cash sweeps, and conducting cash register closings for direct reports, following AutoZone-provided procedures. * Supervise and ensure employees use AutoZone-provided safety equipment—including belts, gloves, aprons, and goggles—when arranging merchandise, performing vehicle tests, or using in-store test stations, thereby helping prevent workplace accidents and ensuring a safe environment for our employees. * High school diploma * One to two years of supervisor experience in retail, warehouse, or store environments * Flexible availability to work various shifts AutoZone Mexico is the leading distributor of automotive parts and accessories in the Americas.
